DESCRIPTION
154 wooded acres of rolling woodlands adjoining the Shawnee National Forest at Wolf Lake IL. The property is at the end of a ridge line with thousands of acres of cropland to the South. A valley cuts up the East side of the property. This valley also contains cropland. Shawnee National Forest adjoins the property to the North and Northwest. The ridges and valleys on this property provide sanctuary and hold whitetail.
The property was selectively cut a few years ago and there are trails throughout. Some are marked on the Mapright map below, but there others I have not explored yet. Follow the trails and you will find the Whitetail use them extensively.
