My name is Ian Metcalf, I was born and raised in Southern Illinois. This has given me a familiarity with the area and a step up in knowing the landscape. I grew up around hunting and agriculture and both have influenced the individual I am today as well as the decisions I have made. I received my real estate license while attending Southern Illinois University in the pursuit of a Bachelors in Agribusiness Economics. This degree has given me an expanded knowledge on agriculture and specifically the business side of the industry which in turn aids me in helping my clients with agriculture related transactions.

I am a passionate, goal-driven individual who loves everything outdoors related. My passion for the outdoors has created a desire to assist others in achieving their dreams in real estate. Whether that be selling a family farm, purchasing your first recreational property, flipping a current farm to find another property that better suits your needs, or even purchasing a property solely for investment purposes. I am dedicated to providing the best service possible to my clients while maintaining honesty and integrity in every interaction. I make sure my client’s needs are met during the transaction and after. I even go the extra mile to make sure my clients achieve all their goals for their property whether that is helping hang deer stands, assisting in habitat management, and even helping develop a habitat plan that fits their needs. My certification of Deer Steward 1 from the National Deer Association and my years of hunting experience have grown my expertise in these areas. My passion for developing a more beneficial habitat for our wildlife led me to become a member in the National Deer Association and the National Wild Turkey Federation. I am always striving to gain knowledge and experiences that will help me better serve my clients. My youthful energy and excitement about land will be beneficial to any individual no matter which side of the transaction they are on.
