Agent comments: As most deer hunters know, Clark County is one of the best counties in the State of Illinois for tagging a big deer. This property has never been set up for deer hunting, yes, the owner goes out and shoots a few deer for meat but other than a day or two in gun season that has been the extent. I personally hunt within a mile or two of this farm and the potential is outstanding. The neighborhood produced good deer and the area hunters are accustomed to allowing young bucks an opportunity to grow to their potential.  The day I listed this property as I was leaving, there was 2 bucks crossing the road into it and 7 bucks in a group on the neighbor.  I live nearby and routinely drive the roads here on summer evenings. I think most deer hunters should be excited to own this farm.  Also, if you follow my Facebook page, much of my hunting and most of my turkey hunting is either just north of this property or just west of it.  It's good now, however there is some real potential for a guy willing to do some food plotting.  The right set up here and late season hunting will rival the November rut!  The owner bought this place to retire. Pond 1 is ½ acre and is in the pasture up by the road. Pond 2 is 1/3 acre located just upstream of the pond 3.  Pond 3 is 2+ acres, deep and mostly timber lined. Very nice pond!
